Introducing "The Ducal Detective Mysteries"...

Hello dear reader,

It’s been a while, I know! How it is nearly the end of 2019 is beyond me, but I suppose I’ve had a lot going on to keep me busy. Not only has CROWN OF CHAOS joined the Court of Mystery series as Jax’s latest adventure, but I’ve been working on several other writing projects. As you might remember, I signed with Camel Publishing back at the start of the year for a three-book cozy mystery series. I am happy to report things are going well on the traditional publishing front. It’s certainly a different experience than I’m used to, but I am thoroughly enjoying it and cannot wait to introduce you to a host of new characters.

I am also working to develop another cozy mystery series because I just love writing. And while I am waiting for feedback from my agent on this project, I’ve also been doing a lot of work with Jax and her friends.

The Ducal Detective and A Feast Most Foul have both been released to audiobook through Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. I couldn’t be happier with the wonderful Melissa Green and her narrations. She brings the Realm of Virtues to life in such a spectacular way. If you are interested in listening to either of these on Audible for free, please leave a comment to be entered for the chance to receive a free download.

And now for the subject of my post. You might be wondering, “Introducing? Sarah, you published and wrapped up The Ducal Detective Mysteries over a year ago.” Yes, that is true. But think of this as a re-introduction…

I am so pleased to announce the release of "The Ducal Detective Mysteries," a complete anthology for Court of Mystery readers, featuring the first five Duchess Jacqueline adventures.

When I wrote "The Ducal Detective" over two years ago, I had no idea that my little novella would grow to be something so much more than a young Duchess solving mysteries. In 2018, I decided to launch the Court of Mystery series, with the hopes this would indicate to readers that a new era of Jax's reign had begun. With this new series, I could focus on the darker issues plaguing the Realm of Virtues, yet still building off of the adventures had by Jax and her friends in the Ducal Detective Mysteries.

I wanted to ensure readers of the Court of Mystery series had access to Jax's previous adventures, so I am introducing "The Ducal Detective Mysteries, a Court of Mystery prequel" into the Court of Mystery canon. If you haven't had to chance to visit the stories of Jax's past, now's the time. This collection features three novellas and two full-length novels for just $7.99 on Kindle. The anthology is also available in paperback.

In addition, this anthology also contains MARK OF METTLE, a Realm of Virtues short story featuring a young George Solomon. This is the first time this story has been made available via general publication and gives an exciting look into Jax and George's friendship.

Discover why murder is always a royal affair in "The Ducal Detective Mysteries, a Court of Mystery prequel," available now.

Arms around,

S.B.
