What is A Bookish Moment? With the enthusiastic reception The Bookish Hour has had amongst the writing community, Sarah & J.C. are delighted to announce the launch of A Bookish Moment. A Bookish Moment, a companion series to The Bookish Hour, is a shorter, livestreamed broadcast dedicated to giving authors time to connect with their readers. In these 30-minute, author-driven vignettes, the featured author will have the chance to interact with readers through interview Q & A, readings, trivia, and more — perfect for celebrating a new release or highlighting/announcing other fun book news. Supported by The Bookish Hour co-hosts, Sarah & J.C., A Bookish Moment is a livestream platform authors can use to connect directly with book lovers.

The Bookish Hour airs at 8 PM EST every other Thursday during our regularly scheduled season, and we ask our guests to join us fifteen minutes before our show (7:45 PM EST) for a briefing and tech check. All episodes are recorded and streamed LIVE on YouTube.
A Bookish Moment episodes are scheduled at the convenience of the author and our hosts.
In your request, please provide us with your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of dates. Episodes with a guest listed have already been filled. We’d also appreciate an e-ARC of your featured book to help us better prepare for your interview.
