A new season means a new chapter for It’s Bookish Time TV!

Hosted by mystery authors Sarah E. Burr and J.C. Kenney, It’s Bookish Time TV is a video podcast celebrating cozy mysteries, traditional mysteries, and mystery-adjacent book genres. Through conversations with authors and other members of the bookish community, we explore the stories we love, the people who create them, and all the fun that happens between the pages.

Beginning with Season 6, our programming is divided into two distinct formats:

A Bookish Moment is our home for weekly author interviews.

These one-on-one conversations give us the chance to sit down with authors from the cozy mystery, traditional mystery, and mystery-adjacent worlds to talk about their latest books, characters, writing journeys, inspirations, and more.

If you’re an author interested in joining us to spotlight your work, A Bookish Moment is the place to be!

📚 The Bookish Hour

The Bookish Hour is reserved for panels, group conversations, and special events that bring multiple bookish voices together.

Bookish Hours may include:

• Multi-author panels

• Themed discussions

• Seasonal and holiday celebrations

• It’s Bookish Time anniversary events

• Special conversations with groups of authors, bloggers, creators, and other members of the literary community

While mystery is at the heart of our conversations, we’re also happy to explore mystery-adjacent genres that share elements our viewers enjoy, whether that’s an intriguing puzzle, an engaging cast of characters, a touch of romance, or a story that keeps you turning the pages.

What day/time does A Bookish Moment air?

A Bookish Moment episodes are scheduled based on the author’s needs and the availability of hosts Sarah and J.C. Because each episode is thoughtfully produced with care and creativity, we limit recordings to one or two per week. To inquire about scheduling, please email us at requests@itsbookishtime.com.

What technology do I need to “livestream” an episode?

Make sure you have a microphone, webcam, and access to Zoom. Episodes are recorded through Zoom and livestreamed onto YouTube.

What if a reader misses the livestream?

Your episode will be available on our YouTube channel after the stream.

Available interview slots on our view-only calendar are indicated with an “Available for Booking” label. You will need to email the show at requests@itsbookishtime.com to begin the booking process. We are currently booking December 2026 and beyond.

📺 About A Bookish Moment

A Bookish Moment is a cozy 30-minute YouTube livestream interview series. This show spotlights individual authors in a fun, interactive format for readers and fans.

Our recording schedule:

• Available episode dates are labeled "Available for Booking”

• We schedule 45 minutes between 3 PM and 5 PM ET

  • Our shows are 30 minutes long. We ask guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the show for a quick intro and briefing

• We do our best to accommodate availability, though timeframes outside this window are limited

• Please email requests@itsbookishtime.com your preferred dates when booking

Once scheduled, we’ll also request the following:

• A short author bio

• A high-resolution headshot

• An e-ARC of your featured book (PDF or ePub preferred)

• Multi-author panels (3+ authors)

• It’s Bookish Time anniversary events

Once you have reviewed our available episodes, reach out to our sponsorship email (noted above and below) with “Sponsorship” in the subject line. In the email, please include your top three episode dates and the 15-second blurb(s) you’d like read for your sponsorship. The producers reserve the right to edit blurbs to adhere to time constraints; however, you will have approval of the final blurb that will be read during the broadcast.
